Biography

Sarah Wolfe (1994, Wichita, KS) is an artist studying sculpture and photography at Wichita State University. A native Wichitan, she spent her childhood roaming the fields and small woods around her Valley Center home that inspired her to be a multi-talented freelancer. She is inspired by everyday events as well as the emotions we tend to keep locked away. Known thus far for her sculptural creature entitled “Jim”, self-portrait watercolors, a Photography series dedicated to the Sternberg Mansion, and Photos-on-the-Go for low income students/families, Wolfe is dedicating her art forms to those who dream too big for their own income.

Wolfe’s works have been displayed in Shift Space Gallery, Cadman Art Gallery, Bella Luna Café, and on Wichita State University campus and is looking forward to her upcoming shows in Cadman and with other artists on Commerce Street.

Wolfe hopes to become a storyboard artist and film director and is beginning a series of short films this summer dedicated to the everyday lives of students with big dreams.
